The RegalDiamonds Certificate Guarantee
Diamond and gemstone certificates list the properties of the examined diamond or gemstone and serve as a quality assurance measure. We guarantee that each of our diamonds or gemstones comes with a certificate from one of the top five gemology laboratories in the world (GIA, AGS, HRD, IGI, or EGL), or from the Diamond Factory (DF) or the International Colored Gemstone Laboratory (ICL). Unlike some competitors who issue their own certificates, RegalDiamonds exclusively offers diamonds and gemstones with certificates from stringent and recognized industry laboratories.

The RegalDiamonds Diamond and Gemstone Information Guarantee
We guarantee that the Website will always provide complete information about every diamond and gemstone available. This includes precise details about the properties and origin of the certificate.

The RegalDiamonds Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a diamond, gemstone, or piece of diamond or gemstone jewelry purchased from RegalDiamonds, you may return it within 30 days. For orders of $19,237 and above, returns are only accepted within 14 days. Orders paid in a currency other than GBP will have applicable values rounded up to the nearest 500 to determine the return period.

Provided the product(s) are returned undamaged within the specified period, we guarantee a full refund of the purchase price without further questions. This does not affect your rights according to Clause 4.

The RegalDiamonds Lifetime Warranty Against Manufacturing Defects
RegalDiamonds jewelry comes with a lifetime warranty covering all manufacturing defects. See section 5 for more details.

The RegalDiamonds Free Size Fitting Guarantee
We offer a free size adjustment on your ring purchase if claimed within 30 days of the purchase date. This guarantee does not apply to bespoke rings. For details, see the provisions in sections 5.18 – 5.27.

With a showroom in Mayfair and workshops in central London, we take pride in being a British company that manufactures its jewelry in Great Britain. This is why our jewelry is marked by the British Office for Precious Metals Control.

ORDERING AND PURCHASING PROCESS

  1. Add your item(s) to the shopping cart.
  2. Review your order in the order overview.
  3. When purchasing a ring, you may personalize and engrave your item before confirming your order, provided engraving is possible for the selected item. Engraving incurs an additional fee. For bespoke items, engraving details must be specified during the design process. For more information on special finishes and engravings, refer to our service fees.
  4. After completing your order, you will receive an email confirmation.
  5. RegalDiamonds will review your order and the prices of the listed stones and bands. You will be informed if there is any discrepancy between the displayed prices and those of the stones and bands, or if your order is unavailable.
  6. RegalDiamonds will ship your item(s) and send a delivery confirmation by email. This finalizes the sales contract between RegalDiamonds and you. If you choose to collect your item(s) from one of our showrooms, RegalDiamonds will send you a confirmation once your order is accepted. This finalizes the sales contract between RegalDiamonds and you. RegalDiamonds will notify you when your item(s) are ready for collection.
  7. When ordering items (“Goods”) online, the final order details will be displayed on the “Order Summary” page. After reviewing the details, you will place your order (“Order”). Once your order is placed, we will immediately email you a confirmation that your order has been received (“Order Confirmation”). This email does not constitute a binding acceptance of the order unless explicitly stated.
  8. We do not provide direct access to your purchase details on the Website after placing your order. Therefore, we recommend saving or printing the order confirmation email for your records. For specific information about previous purchases, please contact us.
  9. The presentation of goods on the Website does not constitute a binding offer to conclude a sales contract. By placing your order, you are making an offer to RegalDiamonds to conclude a sales contract. The order confirmation received after placing your order does not constitute acceptance of this offer. A sales contract is only concluded when the ordered item(s) and delivery confirmation are sent to you. For items collected in-store, the sales contract is concluded upon sending the confirmation about your order being accepted.

PERSONAL INFORMATION, PAYMENT, AND AVAILABILITY
When verifying your order, we may need to check your identity through an identity verification center. It is crucial to provide accurate information, as failure to do so may result in your order being rejected. If necessary, we will double-check your data with fraud prevention and protection authorities*.

Please contact us if you wish to know who we receive these background checks from and to whom we forward information about you. You have the right to this information. We do not charge any fees for these inquiries.

You have the right to a copy of the information we hold about you. Contact us at: customercare@regaldiamonds.shop if you wish to make a subject access request for further information. Typically, this does not incur a fee unless the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, or if additional copies of data are requested.

Availability and Replacement Delivery
Orders are subject to availability. If we cannot deliver the goods you ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. If possible, we will offer a replacement of at least equivalent value. You can either accept the replacement or receive a full refund for any undeliverable goods.

Pricing Determination Errors
The price of the goods is generally the price displayed on the Website at the time of the order. Although we strive to ensure all prices are correct, errors may occur. Prices are reviewed as part of the order confirmation. If the correct price of your goods is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount at shipping. If the correct price is higher, we will contact you for further instructions or reject your order and notify you. Once informed of the higher price, you may cancel your order free of charge and receive a full refund. If cancelled in this manner, we are released from any service obligations except the refund. Note that offers following a pricing error are valid only for 48 hours and must be adapted beyond this limit.

Payment for the purchase price is due immediately upon completion of the order. Various payment options are available and displayed at the beginning of the ordering process.

Certain financing options are available to UK customers depending on the total order cost. These options are outlined on the RegalDiamonds finance page. Finance service terms and conditions apply.

Ownership of all goods purchased on the Website passes to you upon delivery, provided we have received full payment.

Prices on the Website include shipping costs unless stated otherwise (EU countries and Switzerland do not pay shipping or import fees). If you are responsible for shipping costs, they will be specified before you place your order and again in the order confirmation.

RegalDiamonds may cancel or refuse to enter into a contract for certain goods before sending the shipping confirmation for reasons of availability or other valid reasons. In such cases, RegalDiamonds will refund the purchase price in full to your account within 10 working days.

You agree to indemnify RegalDiamonds for all costs and expenses incurred in obtaining payments from you in the event of a failed payment due to your responsibility (including fees for failed payments charged by our payment service partners).

DELIVERY
Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are specified before the customer’s order confirmation. We strive to deliver within the deadlines stated in the shipping confirmation. Delays may occur due to unforeseen factors, especially with custom-made items. RegalDiamonds assumes no liability for delays due to unmet delivery deadlines. Nothing in this contract limits liability for damage resulting from negligent breaches of duty by RegalDiamonds or intentional or negligent breaches by RegalDiamonds’ legal representatives or proxies.

If you choose to collect your item(s) from one of our showrooms, you must pick up the order in person unless otherwise agreed. Verification of your identity will require a photo ID, such as a passport or driver’s license. If someone else collects the product, they must present a procuration document signed by you, along with their identification.

RETURNS AND REPLACEMENT DELIVERIES, INSPECTIONS

Warranty Claim

In the rare event that the goods delivered are found to be faulty, damaged, or differ from what you ordered, Regal Diamonds will offer to replace or repair the goods or, if you prefer, refund the purchase price upon the return of the defective items. According to the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a short-term right to reject goods that are unsatisfactory in quality, unfit for purpose, or not as described, and receive a full refund. This right is limited to 30 days from the date you take ownership of the goods. This warranty is in addition to your statutory warranty claims, which remain unaffected. To make a warranty claim, please contact us.

If defective goods are returned, regardless of the legal basis for the return, all items must be returned in full. If the goods were delivered in additional packaging within the outer packaging (such as special protective packaging, gift packaging, a ring box, or a jewellery box), this packaging is considered part of the delivered goods and must also be returned.

To enforce the warranty, goods must be returned in full, including any special additional packaging (excluding the original shipping box) and any certificate that may have been included. Additionally, proof of purchase must be provided by the buyer. If the certificate is not returned with the goods, we may charge £335 plus VAT for a replacement certificate. Monetary amounts in other currencies will be rounded to the nearest unit of 5. You have the right to provide evidence that our costs for the replacement certificate are considerably lower than this lump sum.

In the case of an insufficient delivery, costs for special or additional packaging and other supplementary materials may be charged. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods and insuring them during transport, which may vary depending on the country of origin and the value of the goods.

If the goods show signs of damage or deterioration, we may require compensation for the reduction in their value. We reserve the right to offset this compensation against any repayments to you, which may reduce the amount of any repayment accordingly.

For safety reasons, we recommend not using the name Regal Diamonds on the return packaging, as it may increase the risk of theft or tampering. To arrange the return of defective goods, please contact your Regal Diamonds customer care representative for further instructions. If inspections of goods outside Regal Diamonds’ premises are required, such as with security service providers like Malca-Amit or Brinks, you will need to pay a deposit in advance to cover shipping and insurance costs. The deposit amount will correspond to these costs.

Once an inspection of the item(s) at the agreed location is possible, you will be notified. After this notification, you have three working days to inspect the item(s). If you do not inspect the item(s) within three working days, Regal Diamonds reserves the right to return the item(s) and withhold the deposit.

You must notify Regal Diamonds within two working days of inspecting the item(s) whether or not to proceed with the purchase. If you do not respond within this period, Regal Diamonds reserves the right to return the goods and withhold the deposit. If a purchase contract is concluded, the deposit will be applied to the purchase price, with the remaining amount due.

Exceptions To Warranty Claim

Regal Diamonds goods come with a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing and processing defects. This warranty does not cover goods subject to wear and tear, misuse, or property damage, regardless of cause. The item(s) must not be damaged by improper handling or external impacts (e.g., knocks, dents, or pressure) and must not be altered, repaired, or serviced by anyone other than Regal Diamonds. Wear and tear from intended use does not constitute a manufacturing defect and is not covered by the warranty. Any tampering or alteration of the purchased jewellery by you, another jeweller, or any third party voids the lifetime guarantee.

Items should be reassessed every three years to ensure their structure is secure and free from excessive wear and tear. This reassessment is at the customer’s discretion, but failure to have your item inspected may void your lifetime warranty if we determine that the item has been damaged or excessively worn.

All returns for warranty claims are subject to verification and authentication by the Regal Diamonds team. The item(s) must be classified as defective due to a manufacturing flaw by our production department. The decision on the procedure (exchange, repair, etc.) will be made on a case-by-case basis and discussed with you, but will remain at our sole discretion.

Ring Resizes

All ring sizes and measurements are approximate, though we strive for accuracy. If you are unsure of your ring size, select ‘Don’t know’ during the ordering process, and we will manufacture the ring in a standard size (between 51 and 53 mm).

Upon receiving the ring and determining the correct size, you may return it to us for a free resizing within 30 days of receipt, provided the item qualifies for this service. This does not apply to bespoke rings and full-set eternity rings.

Complimentary ring resizes are available except for certain designs specified from 5.18 onwards. Some rings can be resized, while others must be remade from scratch.

Ring resizes typically take 5 to 7 working days, excluding delivery time. A fee is required to prioritize resizing. For details, please refer to our service fees.

For sizes beyond a certain range, an additional fee will apply to remake the item, covering extra metal or accent diamonds needed. Fees apply for:

  • Engagement rings like plain solitaires, plain band halos, or plain wedding rings resized beyond 4 sizes.
  • Engagement rings with accent stones (e.g., diamond bands, vintage styles) resized beyond 3 sizes.
  • Half-set eternity rings resized beyond 2 sizes.
  • Full-set eternity rings cannot be resized and must be replaced. If the replacement features additional diamonds, you will need to cover the extra cost.

Resizing outside the 30-day period depends on the item:

Engagement Rings:

  • Plain bands or non-diamond/gemstone set rings, and non-engraved rings, can be resized two sizes smaller or larger for around £100 inc. VAT. Larger changes may require a new ring, with costs confirmed after consultation.
  • Engraved rings can be resized two sizes for an additional fee. Check our service fees for details.
  • Diamond-set or gemstone-set rings (including custom-made) must be assessed to determine if resizing or remaking is necessary. Costs will be confirmed after consultation.

Eternity Rings:

  • Full eternity rings cannot be resized and must be replaced within 30 days. For alternatives, contact our sales team.
  • Half eternity rings will be examined to determine if resizing is possible or if a new ring is required. Pricing will be confirmed after assessment. Contact customer care for details.

Wedding Rings:

  • Simple wedding rings can be resized for a fee, excluding special surface treatments or engravings. Diamond-set or gemstone-set rings must be inspected before resizing to confirm feasibility. Resizing outside the 30-day free service incurs charges. For more information, contact customer care.

Cocktail Rings and Collection Pieces:

Bespoke Rings:

Resizing bespoke rings is at our discretion. Due to their unique nature, resizing may not always be possible or may involve a fee if complex. We will review the request and discuss it with you. Bespoke rings can be resized but are non-returnable. For details, contact our bespoke team.

Professional Assessment & Revaluation

You can request an in-person professional assessment or revaluation of your jewellery at a Regal Diamonds showroom for an additional fee. If a repair is needed and not covered by your lifetime warranty, this charge will be added. Assessments can be requested after two months of purchase and may take up to 40 minutes. If you cannot access a showroom, you can send your item for this service. For more information, contact customer care or refer to our service fees.

PROPERTY OF REGAL DIAMONDS

All goods remain the property of Regal Diamonds until fully paid for. If you receive ordered goods that you have not yet paid for, and Regal Diamonds requests their return, you must do so immediately. Regal Diamonds will cover shipping costs but may charge interest at the statutory rate if you delay returning the items. Interest will accrue daily from the receipt of the goods until payment or return.

In addition to the purchase price, we may seek compensation for damages or expenses if goods, agreed to be collected from one of our showrooms, remain with Regal Diamonds for over 90 days after contact. Regal Diamonds is only liable for intent and gross negligence during this period.

Jewellery Care

Following any purchase at Regal Diamonds, you can request a free ultrasonic cleaning service at one of our showrooms. A Professional Clean & Polish service is also available for an additional fee. For more information, refer to our service fees.

OUR LIABILITY

Claims for damages against Regal Diamonds are generally excluded, except for those related to life, body, health, or breaches of essential contractual obligations, or damages from intentional or grossly negligent breaches by Regal Diamonds or its representatives. Essential contractual obligations are those necessary to achieve the contract’s objective.

In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, Regal Diamonds will only be liable for foreseeable damage typical for such contracts if caused by simple negligence, unless the damage involves life, body, or health.

The liability limitations also apply to Regal Diamonds’ representatives and agents. They do not apply if Regal Diamonds has maliciously concealed defects or assumed a warranty for the item’s quality. The same applies if an agreement on the item’s quality was reached. Product Liability Law remains unaffected.

IMPORT DUTY

Items are dispatched as follows:

  • For deliveries outside the UK, goods will be dispatched from London with a separate commercial invoice stating the item’s value. Import duties and taxes are not included in the item’s price or shipping fees. All additional charges for customs clearance are the buyer’s responsibility.
  • If a package is rejected by customs, Regal Diamonds will be notified. The rejected package will be returned, and Regal Diamonds will refund the purchase price minus any customs fees or penalties incurred.
